Community Policing |

It has been a busy and productive few days for the team, spending time out in the community and building strong relationships. They kicked things off with a community catch-up at Milk & Honey, led by PCSOs Sneap and Newitt – a great opportunity to speak directly with residents and hear what matters to the community ☕ They also carried out joint patrols on Charnwood Street and Wilmot Street West following reports of anti-social behaviour, providing reassurance and addressing concerns in the area. A key highlight was their visit to the West Indian Community Centre, where PCSOs Charles and Humphrey spoke in more depth about their role, what they do, and the types of incidents they deal with. There was an amazing turnout, with over 30 people attending – it was great to engage with so many people and strengthen those important community links. They were also joined by a Fire Safety Officer and Public Protection colleagues, who spoke about their roles and shared valuable safety advice, alongside crime prevention guidance. Thank you to everyone who came along and took the time to speak with them – it really does make a difference. #CommunityPolicing #YouSaidWeDid #Priorities
